Who’s the Greatest? It’s a Poll!
Who do you think is the greatest astronaut of all time? The good folks at Sky at Night Magazine have launched a poll to uncover out. The poll is inside the August issue which by the way is on sale now.
Graham Southorn, Editor of the magazine made the comment: €œWe are setting out to honour those brave explorers who have journeyed beyond Earth, with a poll to come across the greatest astronaut. We had to make some tough choices, but inside end we’ve narrowed the selection down to 15 folks. Now we need your assist to select the greatest of all time.
Notably absent from the “short list” is John Glenn which kind of surprised me, not that I’d necessarily vote for him, but I’m not sure I’d have excluded him especially after looking at the list.
Still, it’s quite a group:
