What are some of the most effective schools/universities for astronomy in the US?

Query by Erik M: What are some of the best schools/universities for astronomy in the US?
Im wanting to go into Astrobiology, and i’ve heard acquiring a very good astronomy school is more difficult than finding a superior biology college. So any solutions that contains a school good in both equally astronomy and biology would be Really beneficial and appreciated, but a school good in astronomy is very good also.

Query by W: What are the standard factors I want to know about astronomy?
I’m taking an astronomy training course in university this year. I only took it for the reason that I heard it was easy, even though I am interested in it!

What are some essential matters I ought to go through up on or know about?

well, astronomy is a quite wide matter so there are a lot of factors you would want to know. but if there were an individual point i would select to read up on if i was taking the study course, i would try out to find out as considerably about stars as a could since stars are linked to quite a few phenomenon in our universe

For university, you should know about the Big Bang Theory, how stars are formed, how our solar system was formed, and you may want to read about some notable astronomers and physicists like Galileo, Newton, Einstein, and Bohr. A very general knowledge of each of them would definitely be useful. Once you start reading into these topics, other related things should come up. But I think those are the most basic things you should know about when starting a university level course.
    Hope it helps!
